My random, long awaited and much needed ramblings for the week:

Cloudy days are great here in Texas! I'm really grateful to be receiving this training and having the opportunity to witness to so many people. Sometime I don't even have to say anything...the light of Christ shines. Thank you for lifting me up in prayer cause the Lord has been working! I just finished a 6 hour schedule of CQ (Charge of Quarters) which is basically being like the front desk and making sure no one leaves the dorms after 10 and answer phones, check phases, assist the MTLs and officers, and open the door for people. I was the rope on duty for the night and well lets just say that its not the best job when your running on an hour of sleep. I became a green rope yesterday...meaning that I am a student leader for my squadron.We march people around calling cadence and keeping them in step, conduct open ranks (inspections), and make sure that everyone is doing their part in our squadron with details and what not. It's interesting being in this position of authority but it can also be a challenge trying to lead people who want to defile it. We're emo creatures...no se porque.

What's going in life back home...with my friends and family? I feel so out of the loop. There's really nothing much that I can do from here...I don't even know what's going on in the world. This is all I know: hurricane in Florida, terrorist bombing in England...yeah,that's pretty much it. I don't even know if that at all is accurate. I'm gonna go find out what's going on in this world.
